Weight: .030 Lead Wire
Antennae: Ringneck Pheasant Tail
Carapace: Mallard Hen Flank
Claws: Mallard Hen Flank
Back: Furry Foam, Olive
Legs: Grizzly Hen Saddle or Ginger Saddle Hackle
Body: Light Olive or light yellow dubbing
The Clouser Crayfish is a fly that Bob Clouser developed to imitate the "soft craw" stage of a crawdad/Crayfish. When the crayfish molts it's exoskeleton the new one is not ridged enough for the crayfish to move too well. This makes them very vulnerable to predators. The Clouser Crayfish is a nymph pattern to be fished under an indicator or high sticked. --Enjoy
